Can I sell hashrate?

Can I sell hashrate?

You cannot sell hashrate back to Infinity Hash, transfer it to another user, or redeem it for USD or BTC. Purchases of hash rate are final unless a refund is legally required. See the terms of service.

What a purchase is

Buying hashrate is a rental of SHA-256 mining capacity on real ASIC hardware, not ownership of the machines, and not a financial investment. You cannot sell, rent out, or physically dispose of the hardware. Capacity stays on the miner generation you bought and cannot be moved for free. See Offline older miners.

Hashrate stays active only while mining rewards exceed electricity and pool fees. There is no minimum operating period.

Mining rewards

Daily net mining rewards (mined BTC minus power costs) may continue on miners whose dashboard status is Online. Amount and frequency are not guaranteed. Withdrawals may include network fees and compliance checks.

Send mining rewards to your BTC wallet

  • 1. Open the dashboard

    Log in and open the dashboard.

  • 2. Save a BTC payout address

    Enter your Bitcoin wallet address on the pending payout card and save it. Check the address before saving. Sent funds cannot be retrieved.

  • 3. Wait for the payout threshold

    Net rewards from Online miners accumulate as pending payout, then are sent to that address after the threshold. Rewards are not guaranteed.

  • 4. Optional: set Automatic scaling to Off

    To send more of each new day’s net reward to BTC instead of additional hashrate, set automatic scaling to Off. That does not sell hashrate.

Efficiency upgrades

A paid efficiency upgrade into a newer miner is planned so hashrate is not stuck on an older generation forever. That path is not available yet, and there is no date for it.

Frequently asked questions

No. There is no sale of hashrate, including via support. Mining rewards may still be paid to your BTC wallet, subject to the terms.

No. Generations are independent. There is no free transfer. A paid efficiency upgrade is planned and not live yet.

Set a BTC payout address on the dashboard. Net rewards from Online miners go to pending payout, then to that wallet after the threshold. Rewards are not guaranteed. Automatic scaling Off sends each new day’s full net reward toward payout.

You have 30 days to log back in and cancel. After that, remaining hashrate and balances are cleared and cannot be recovered. See Account deactivation.
