Account deactivation

Account deactivation

For compliance reasons, you must deactivate the account yourself. Support cannot start deactivation on your behalf. The control is in the dashboard, on the Profile page.

Deactivate your Infinity Hash account

  • 1. Log in

    Open the dashboard. Support cannot start deactivation for you.

  • 2. Open Settings & Security

    Use the account menu and choose Settings & Security.

  • 3. Open Profile

    Direct link: Settings & Security → Profile.

  • 4. Confirm and enter your password

    Use Deactivate account at the bottom of the page. Confirm that you understand the consequences and enter your password.

What happens immediately

30-day window to reverse it

You have exactly 30 days to cancel deactivation. Log back into the same account with your existing password. That login is the reversal. There is no separate “undo” button.

Password-reset emails are not sent while the account is deactivated. If you do not remember the password, contact support@infinity-hash.com before the 30 days run out.

After you log in, automatic scaling is still Max until you change it on the dashboard.

After 30 days (permanent)

If you do not log in within 30 days, the account is closed permanently:

  • Remaining BTC mining rewards are cleared to zero
  • Remaining USD affiliate balances are cleared to zero
  • Hashrate on miners is cleared to zero
  • Those balances and hashrate cannot be recovered

Deactivation is not a sale of hashrate. Hashrate purchases are final. If you want pending mining rewards paid out first, set a BTC wallet and wait for the payout threshold before you deactivate. See Can I sell hashrate? and the terms of service.

Frequently asked questions

No. Deactivation has to be started by you in Dashboard → Settings & Security → Profile. That self-service step is required for compliance.

No. There is no sale of hashrate. After 30 days without login, remaining mining rewards, affiliate balances, and hashrate are cleared. Set a BTC payout address and wait for pending payouts before you deactivate if you want those rewards sent.

Log in again within 30 days with your existing password. That cancels the deactivation. Password reset will not send mail while the account is deactivated. After login, set automatic scaling back if you do not want Max.

We do not hold Bitcoin in custody. While the account is in the 30-day window, new net rewards buy hashrate instead of sitting as pending payout that might never be claimed.
